{LOCAL FOLKS} Iba Thiam of Cazamance (Austin, TX)

Meet Iba Thiam, co-owner and head chef of the Rainey Street trailer Cazamance. The menu includes healthier versions of authentic West African dishes as well as some other tasty creations that draw from Iba's time in West Africa, New York, France, and Austin. I had previously photographed Iba for another shoot and he had such a joyful spirit that I knew I wanted to feature him on this blog series.
